Dear thek6project,

Reference the phone box in Preston on Stour, Warwickshire. My wife who was born in Cutlin Mill Atherstone on Stour used to walk over the park to Preston to telephone me when we were courting in 1966 and I lived in Tiddington near Stratford upon Avon.

We married in 1968 and moved into Preston in one of the cottages. We had our son in 1971 and it was from the same phone box that I telephoned the Monroe Devis maternity home at 2 am one very wet morning to tell them that I was bringing her in.

My dearest wife passed away in June this year and I can never pass by the box without stopping and bringing these memories to mind.
